Our graduate programme has been developed to give you a real insight into the world of corporate travel management, enabling you to turn theory and innovation into real business experience.

The Graduate Profile

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic and talented graduates, ideally with a 2:1 business related degree.
 

Programme Structure

Our 22-month programme has been designed to give you the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience in some of the core areas of our business before choosing the career path that is perfect for you.
 

You will rotate across a selection of roles across the business. During this programme, you will develop a real understanding of the different functions and the part they have to play within a large global corporation. You will contribute to the business on a variety of challenging assignments which will build your portfolio.

If you shine with Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) and can demonstrate the commitment, drive and enthusiasm to deliver solid results to an agreed level of performance, you will be fast-tracked to management level by the end of the programme. During the programme, you will have your own personal development training plan to help you build your skills to give you the very best chance of success. We will provide solid feedback that you can work on and advice to help you prepare for a permanent role whether you stay with us or decide to move on from CWT.

Marketing Enterprise and Strategy

If you have strong communication skills, a creative and organised mind with great vision and innovative ideas to deliver a message with impact – this may be the route for you!

By understanding industry trends, competitive intelligence, and long-term customer needs, product marketing gets involved throughout the product lifecycle from setting strategies to launching and monitoring product success.
 

Sales and Programme Management

Sales and Programme Management plays a key role in the success and profitability of CWT by targeting, winning and retaining clients.
 

Supplier Management

The Supplier Management team negotiates agreements with air, hotel and car/rail suppliers and finds opportunities to grow supplier business (market share) and maintain relationships.
 

Human Resources

This could include talent acquisiiton and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations or strategy.
 

Customer Operations

We are looking for Innovative and forward thinking individuals who understand customer needs and have the  determination to provide a great customer experience.
 

Technology/Product Development and Account Management

We understand every customer is different and continually strive to tailor solutions to identify market opportunities, wow our customers and meet their diverse needs and expectations.
 

Finance

You will be analytical, have great attention to detail and a fondness for solving problems.

Recruitment process

1.    Your online application
If you would like to apply for and complete your online application on our career website.  If you profile fits, we will contact you for an initial telephone interview.

2.    First interview & assessments
Our Interview & assessment process gives you the opportunity to learn more about us and to demonstrate your motivation and suitability for our Graduate Scheme and your fit with CWT.  Our assessments are used to evaluate your behavioral, technical and language competencies.

3.    Stakeholder interviews & reference checks
For each position, we build a comprehensive selection process.  Through the individuals you will meet at CWT, the interviews will give you a full picture of CWT, our culture and the role.  Before making an offer, we will check your references after having obtained your consent to do so.

4.    Offer
If you are successful and are offered a position on our Graduate Programme, you will have demonstrated that you would be a good fit with our culture and have a lot to offer CWT.

5.    On-boarding
Now your journey with CWT starts, we will ensure you have a smooth transition in your role with our on-boarding process to set you on your way to success as we welcome you as one of CWT’s Graduates!
