Network & Telecommunications Manager – UK & Ireland
 
Location – Potters Bar
 
Reporting to the Head of IT UK, you will be leading and managing the second-line incident management team and the telecommunications site planning function.    You will be responsible for network and infrastructure standards and support and required to work in co-operation with the Service Desk Manager to share knowledge and resources.
 
You will adopt and apply technical and security standards defined at the EMEA level to the needs of the UK.
 
The position requires you to project manage technical rollouts such as network upgrades and VOIP. The role will also include managing installation and configuration of new desktop software and hardware, telephony, network, LAN, WAN & enterprise software.
 
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, good project and technical management skills as well as good people management experience.
 
Essential technical skills:
 
·  Proven network, VOIP, applications support and deployment
·  MS Exchange management & PABX experience
·  Broad knowledge of network telecommunication protocols, e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP SIP
·  Experience of Windows Server administration
·  IT-related degree would be an advantage
