Nick Smith

Nick Smith joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel in November 2004 as
Chief Financial Officer North Europe.
As a chartered accountant, Nick Smith started his financial career
with City firm Spicer and Pegler, before joining the Wines and
Spirits Division of GrandMet, now Diageo.
He spent eleven years with Diageo, with five of those years spent
in the UK, three in Amsterdam, where his children were born, and
three in Stockholm as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the drinks
sector's Nordic Region.
Since returning to the UK in 1999, Nick has held several senior
financial positions, including CFO of Dexion Group, a Scandinavian
owned manufacturing group, based in Hemel Hempstead, and most
recently Finance Director of Courts, the furniture retailer.
