Standard Life has saved more than £28,000 and achieved its objective of reducing average room rate by working with CWT Solutions Group.
A tale of two cities
Headquartered in Edinburgh, the majority of Standard Life’s annual hotel spend was between the Scottish capital and London.
With the number of room nights in London growing year on year and an annual spend in that city of around £1m, Standard Life asked CWT Solutions Group to review its London business travel programme.
CWT Solutions Group’s negotiations resulted in a 4.89% reduction from hotels’ initial bids to final bids, with an overall saving of £28,768.
