What was the project?

Elliot Stone, Strategic sourcing manager at CHC Helicopter wanted to find the best suited and most cost effective travel management supplier. Together with account manager Mike Methven they:

• Centralised the travel programme across six continents
• Embraced the credit crunch, finding ways to save money
• Built strong links between travel arrangers and CWT consultants

What did it achieve?

The work of six different agencies was brought into one, paving the way for savings and reporting that was easy to compare. Travellers can now be tracked across the world which was particularly important during the volcanic ash crisis.
