After choosing Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) as their new travel management company (TMC), the teams worked together to define the following areas for improvement:
- a simpler payment solution for accommodation and air travel
- greater flexibility when booking travel or making amendments
- more transparency of business travel costs
- reliable out-of-hours support for overseas travellers
What did working together achieve?
Consolidating business travel costs: By swapping OpenBet’s invoice account for a virtual credit card solution, room costs could now be paid by individuals while appearing on one invoice. This helped OpenBet achieve the level of control and cost transparency they were looking for.
VIP business travel service: OpenBet’s account is serviced by senior CWT business travel consultants with an average of 10 years’ experience. This gives peace of mind that any complex or last-minute bookings for VIP travellers will be dealt with efficiently.
Clear reporting: greater transparency of the overall travel spend was achieved using bespoke reports generated in CWT Programme Management Centre.
Safer business travel: 24-hour support was available through CWT’s Emergency Service Centre and traveller tracking maps enabled OpenBet to trace all of their business travellers at any time.
