Traveller profiles: Why it’s vital to be complete

When most business travellers hear the words ‘traveller profile’ they probably drift off, because, let’s face it, it’s not the most exciting topic... but here’s why it is so important to keep traveller profiles up-to-date and complete:

 

If there’s a major crisis, the information we have helps us to locate your travellers and get them home safely

 

US carriers have confirmed reservations may be cancelled if certain data is not passed to them when the booking is first created, so make sure the relevant information is in your travellers' profiles to prevent problems at the airport

 

Let’s not forget...it saves you a heap of time! Setting your traveller preferences means we’ll know to always book a vegetarian meal or a window seat.

Five quick checks for a smooth, stress-free and safe travel booking:

  • Basic information is not enough. In order for us to be able to provide the best service and support, profiles must be complete.

  • Traveller information such as personal mobile phone numbers and email addresses enable CWT to make contact directly with the traveller (not the booker) in an emergency.
  • Make sure the name entered in CWT Portrait is the same as the one on the traveller’s passport (travellers could be denied boarding if the name on the ticket does not match the one on the passport).

  • Enable immediate, easy bookings by entering credit card details and any preferred travel options or loyalty card information.

  • Make sure any changes to vital information are updated in the traveller’s profile.
